Before we dive into the nitty-gritty details, let’s take a moment to cover everything you need to know.
First, what even is hemp? You’re likely already familiar with the term ‘hemp,’ but keep in mind that these aren’t the hemp seeds sitting in your pantry right now. Instead, think of hemp as another term for THCa, which is the precursor to THC.
When heated, THCa transforms into a powerful THC compound — a process known as decarboxylation, which produces that ‘high’ sensation we all know and love.
