Local Spotlight: Fight Syndicate

The mecca of mixed martial arts. A gym that breeds champions. A safe haven for the community.

Fight Syndicate has heard it all — and rightfully so! When Beau King, founder and Temecula/Murrieta local, founded the MMA gym in his hometown, he was backed by a deep passion for martial arts and driven by his mission to contribute to the local community in a meaningful and authentic way.

For over 22 years, Fight Syndicate has been a pillar of the community thanks to that same passion and drive that first inspired King to open his business. To fully understand the journey behind the gym, you need…

A Little Background

From a very young age, King was lucky enough to know exactly what he wanted to devote his life doing — and exactly where he wanted to do it.

When he was just 10 years old, he began his martial arts training. From the very beginning, his mind and heart were set on spending the rest of his life focused on MMA. By 12 years old, he had already written his business plan. By 14 years old, he was assisting his first coach. By 18 years old, he had opened his first gym in a small community center, renting out the space a few days every week.

In the early 2000’s, King trained under Dan Henderson at his athletic fitness center in Temecula, as well as numerous other UFC legends; every lesson he learned, technical skill he perfected, challenge he faced, and fight inside the Octagon translated into his business. In other words, his heart, soul, and experience are all left on the mats and clearly evident at Fight Syndicate.

What Can You Expect?

Beau King was adamant about establishing Fight Syndicate in the Menifee/Murrieta area for a few reasons: he recognized its growing potential, he had a deep connection to the local community, and he wanted to be one of the first to open a mixed martial arts gym in his hometown.

Thankfully, his dreams came into fruition, and the people within the community, friends he has made, and the values of the community have provided an excellent home for Fight Syndicate throughout the years.

At Fight Syndicate, you can enroll in all access memberships, MMA classes, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and wrestling — clearly a hub for fighters, your limits will be pushed, but you will leave a champion… and probably a little sore.

Fight Syndicate Gives Back

With such deep roots in the community, it should come as no surprise that Fight Syndicate participates in tournaments and events, such as MMA fights, Jiu Jitsu tournaments, boxing tournaments, wrestling tournaments, and Muay Thai events that aim to keep the community safe and better the lives of the people in the surrounding area.

Additionally, a lot of time and attention is paid to the younger fighters who train at Fight Syndicate in order to grow their skill and support them to the best of the gym’s ability. In fact, two of the younger fighters are traveling to Abu Dahbi in August of 2022 to compete for a youth’s world championship title.

Like we said, champions are made here.

Why Should You Check Out Fight Syndicate?

Fight Syndicate is THE place for local fighters to truly hone their skills and find themselves. Don’t believe us? Take it from Kurt Spillmann, a Riverside local and member at Fight Syndicate. Here’s what he had to say,

“I’ve been training at Fight Syndicate for the last 5 years of my life, and my family has trained there over the last 10 years. This place is my second home and people like Beau King made that happen. Beau has taken all his years of training and made a place where fighters, martial arts enthusiasts and families alike can all find what they’re looking for… good technique, a good atmosphere and that warrior spirit. We train together, we sweat together, we bleed together, but most importantly of all, we’re family at Fight Syndicate. We make each other better while humbling ourselves to stay hungry and keep learning at the same time”

Couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Next time you’re in the Temecula/Murrieta area, be sure to stop by Fight Syndicate for a challenge!
