Spans approximately 30.6 square miles, current population of approximately 203,054 people and it’s minutes away from downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena, Burbank, Hollywood, and Universal City. Located in close proximity to the I-5 Golden State Freeway and SR-2 West Hollywood Freeway. With so much diversity and different cultural groups in one area of the country, it comes as no surprise that there is plenty to see and do in West Hollywood.

Sports fans could check out NBC Sports Headquarters which stands right across from The Garden of Allah where Bob Hope resided in and loved to play golf. Other points of interest include Hotel Bel Air with its swimmers pool, Standard Hotel and Sunset Tower in the chic new Century City district west of Westwood. On this route you will also pass The Spago Restaurant, Restaurant Montage and House of Blues before arriving at The Roxy Theatre which is one of the most popular concert theaters.

8433 W. Sunset Boulevard is the most recognized address in comedy. Founded in 1972 on the sunset strip, The Comedy Store has been the epicenter of humor for nearly 45 years. Some of the biggest names in comedy have performed on its legendary stage, including David Letterman, Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Jim Carrey. And you’ve probably heard at least one joke told on this stage—with some of the world’s best comics honing their acts right here before going on to stardom. This location has long been considered world famous, as it was the home of Ciro’s supper club, where from the 1940s to the 1950s it was considered “the place to be seen” by many.

The new and improved West Hollywood Park, now with 75,000 square feet of state-of-the-art aquatic and recreation center. But this century-old park was a much different look, with cracked pavers, unkempt bamboo, trash cans overflowing with water bottles, and an old playground with missing equipment. With the help of Council member Duran’s ChangeLA Initiative, it’s been updated to include new picnic areas, an outdoor exercise circuit for adults throughout the park, and updated playgrounds for children. Now it even has two off-leash dog parks! The parks feature expanses of open space with shade trees and small mounds — perfect for frisbee-style fun as well as romping around. There are also turf terraces that owners can step onto in case they need to grab their pets by the collar or want to discourage them from jumping up on people. And if you think that your pooch might be thirsty after all that fun, there are water stations for them so they won’t go anywhere else for a drink. It’s the little things!

Fairfax is thought of by many as the historic heart of Los Angeles, and it’s home to a delightful mix of residential areas, charming cafes and interesting shops. There are more than enough sights to see around and in the district, which was made up of the townships of Hollywood, Burbank, and San Fernando, which were all merged in 1910. The Broad – a contemporary art museum in Downtown Los Angeles – is the result of philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad’s goal to make meaningful contemporary art available to all. The museum, which is housed in a 120,000-square-foot building designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler, was founded in November 2015 by the Broads and is operated by the trust for their children.
